The particular model of Audi TT was only produced in 2008 and limited 2009 in the united states, and is the last non TTRS model to be sold with a manual transmission. Production numbers of TT 3.2 Quattros with manual transmissions is estimated to be less than 2000 units, and because of this, it took nearly 6 months to find one to purchase. The car was purchased by a friend of Cone's that worked at a dealership, sight unseen at dealership auction network. The car had 94k miles on it when purchased, and extensive wear due to being used most of it's life on dirt roads. Other than being hit and dented by falling tree branches twice, and regular maintenance, the car has been good for cone, now with 125k miles on it.
